GEM Productions is named in memory of Shellye Leigh Gideon. Shellye took on many roles during her life. She was a loving mother, a skilled nurse, an impassioned advocate for the less fortunate, a country girl who drove a big Chevy Blazer, an excellent two-stepper, a hard worker, and a genuinely good and caring person. Shellye was born in Rowlett, Texas on December 12, 1962 and lived a full, rich life before cancer took her from us on May 22, 1999. In addition to her many other roles, she was my best friend, my soul-mate, and she continues to be my inspiration in life.
